Terms of service.
APRF.io is free to use. These terms explain what you can expect from the service.
A free service based on a draft
APRF.io implements the APRF Internet-Draft, which is a work in progress and may change. Report formats, provider support and service features may change with it. We may update, suspend or discontinue the service.
Provided as is
The service and reports are provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we give no warranties about accuracy, completeness, availability or suitability for a particular purpose. We do not guarantee that providers will send reports, that summaries will arrive, or that data will always be available.
Your responsibilities
Only configure domains and recipient addresses you are authorised to use. You are responsible for your DNS settings and decisions based on reports. Independently verify information before relying on it for important decisions.
Limits on liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, APRF.io and its operator are not liable for loss or damage arising from using, being unable to use, or relying on the service or its reports. This includes loss of data, revenue or profits, business interruption, and indirect or consequential damage. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded, including liability for fraud or intentional misconduct, or limits your mandatory consumer rights.
Hosting and privacy
The APRF.io application is hosted on servers in the Netherlands. We are committed to handling personal data in accordance with the GDPR. Report data is used only to provide the service and is not sold or used for unrelated purposes. Outgoing summaries are delivered through SMTP2GO, which processes recipient addresses and email contents for delivery. See our privacy page for information about the data we use and your controls.
Stopping or changing the service
You can stop summaries using the email preferences link and remove the APRF.io destination from DNS to stop requesting new reports. DNS caches and queued messages may delay the effect. We may update these terms and the service over time. We’ll notify you of significant changes when legally required. You can stop using the service at any time.
